Pragmatic Play has added greyhound racing to its sportsbook coverage.

More than 100,000 events from 80 tracks worldwide will be available to operators, alongside a racecard featuring performance data for each dog from their last six races.

Pragmatic Play suggested the addition of greyhound racing into its sportsbook could be key for the UK market, where the sport is “particularly popular.”

Wales is set to wind down greyhound racing, but the UK government has said there are no plans to extend the ban to the rest of the country.

Gareth Crook, senior vice president of Sports at Pragmatic Play, said: “Greyhound racing is a key market for sports betting operators in the UK and beyond, so we are delighted to announce its addition to the Pragmatic Play Sports stable.

“Following the launch of horse racing and football player markets towards the end of last year, greyhound racing leads an exciting line-up of new products and services coming in 2025.”

Pragmatic Play’s sportsbook product launched in 2023 via Dazn Bet in Spain but is now marketed under Pragmatic Play Sports.
