The Brazilian Ministry of Finance is looking to beef up its betting industry monitoring system through a technical co-operation agreement (ATC).

The collaboration with the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) will accelerate the development of features within the Betting Management System (Sigap).
Four temporary civil servants will be hired and assigned to the Sigap development project.
They will look to help make market monitoring and information publication more efficient, the Ministry of Finance said.
Sigap is a digital system that receives a wide range of information on all licensing requests and bets placed by authorised operators.
