Mobile sports betting revenue in North Carolina, US, rose by almost 40 per cent from April to May this year.

The North Carolina State Lottery Commission reported total mobile handle for May of US$65.2m, up 39.4 per cent from $46.8m in April.
Year-on-year, revenue climbed 3.4 per cent from last May’s $63.1m.
Total mobile handle rose seven per cent year-on-year from $525.5m to $562.2m, while that metric declined 2.4 per cent month-on-month from $576.2m in April.
North Carolina’s mobile betting tax revenues were $11.7m, up 39.4 per cent month-on-month from $8.4m in April.
