The nominations are open for two more and they will be announced in a new ceremony at the National History Museum in London, on September 20.

Already inducted this year to the Hall of Fame are Norbert Teufelberger, the co-founder of Bwin; Constantinos Antonopoulos, founding member and ex-CEO of Intralot; and Warwick Bartlett, former chairman of ABB and founder of Global Betting and Gaming Consultants.

The Sports Betting Hall of Fame has been curated in order to recognise the individuals who have contributed a great deal to the industry over the course of their careers with a lasting legacy.

Previous inductees include Pinnacle CEO Paris Smith, Sportingbet founder Mark Blandford, Sportradar founder Cartsen Koerl, Betfred founder Fred Done, BetConstruct founder Vigen Badalyan and Bookmaker Technology Consortium director Howard Chisholm.

The ceremony will be held at the same time as the Betting on Sports Conference, set for London’s Olympia from September 19-20.
