Mojabet is the new African betting partner of Olympique de Marseille after a six-year deal was struck.

Mojabet

Mojabet’s operations extend beyond gaming into financial technology, mobile money and telecommunication value-added services.

The operator hopes to expand its online offerings for African sports fans through the partnership with the French top-flight football club.

The agreement will provide a platform from which the combined fanbases of both parties can grow and engage.

MOJA Group CEO, Paris Anatolitis, noted that the Marseille club has “deep roots within the African football landscape” and that the partnership will “help us nurture even stronger fan connections through unique live experiences.”

Anatolitis added that the OM8 competition – a bespoke offering to mark the launch of the deal where users must answer eight correct questions each week on the upcoming fixture for a chance to win cash prizes and memorabilia – will offer a “glimpse” of the initiatives on offer.

Pedro Iriondo, strategy and development general manager at Olympique de Marseille, said Mojabet will prove an “ideal partner” to “reach and engage more with our fan base in Africa.”

Mojabet’s brand will also benefit from Digital Overlay technology, which targets audiences in the region by geo-location ads displayed on the club’s LED screens.
