In its first year of operation, Spain’s newly regulated online gaming market has already delivered total tax revenues of €111m.


Figures released by the regulator Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego report gross gaming revenues of €77.4m generated between the market’s launch in June and the end of September.

To October 2012, the market yielded a total of €111m while administrative fees generated around €13m. It is predicted that a total of €150m in tax will be collected in 2012.
