Sports betting operator Dafabet has become the newest major sponsor of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The two-year partnership will see Dafabet’s logo feature on all of YCCC’s playing shirts for all three formats of the game.
The operator’s head of partnerships, John Cruces, said that cricket is becoming its “biggest growing international sport” and that Yorkshire was seen as a “key club to further our sponsorship portfolio within elite cricket.”
YCCC’s CEO Stephen Vaughan added: “Their support is a fantastic shot in the arm and allows us to make serious strides towards our objectives both on and off the pitch over the next two years.
“Dafabet have very much impressed everyone at the Club with their desire to help drive the club forward on and off the pitch, and I would like to thank the team at Dafabet for coming on board with Yorkshire Cricket.”
The operator has invested in partnerships with other UK cricket clubs as well as Premier League football sides including Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Everton and Fulham.
