The Betting and Gamimg Council brought together a host of industry operators and stakeholders for its latest training day on anti-money laundering risks in gaming last Wednesday.

The 2023 Anti-Money Laundering Group’s meeting, which has become an annual event, aims to allow the industry to share knowledge and raise standards on AML and counter-terrorist financing.

Over 100 members from 40 different organisations, including Entain, Flutter, Betfred and Playtech attended the meeting.

The attendees discussed emerging risks, best practices and developments.

Jamie Colley, senior manager at the Gambling Commission, was among those to speak at the event.
