Betcris, the online sports betting and betting platform with a focus on Latin America, has signed a three-year deal to work with former Brazil football star Ronaldinho.
The agreement will see the Golden Ball winner represent the company in its main digital platforms, in which the athlete has more than 100 million followers. It includes the right to intellectual property in the markets where Betcris operates.
JD Duarte, general manager of Betcris, said: “We are very excited to be able to work with Ronaldinho, one of the best of all time! No matter how old you are or where you live, everyone smiles when they see it. We want people to have that same reaction when they think of Betcris.”
Ronaldinho is considered one of the best footballers of all time. He received the FIFA award as the world’s best player twice in a row, in 2004 and 2005, while he is the only player in history to win a World Cup, the Golden Ball, the UEFA Champions League and the Copa Libertadores.
