Sportsbook solutions provider Betby has added coverage of the local Brazilian sport of vaquejada.

The company has launched pre-live betting markets and an esports version of its coverage for the sport, which is based around two cowboys – “vaqueiros” – on horses and a bull.
The vaqueiros chase after a bull, trying to pin it between the two horses while direct it towards a goal. As they enter a goal, defined by chalk marks, the vaqueiros must knock the bull over.
Betby now offers pre-live markets for major and lower-tier real vaquejada events, which are particularly popular in the northeast region of Brazil.
The supplier has also released Vaquejada Eletrônico, the e-sim version of the sport, for betting markets. Each match, which lasts around five minutes, uses artificial intelligence to make in-game decisions.
Each team, named after its captain, has four attempts to take down a bull. Scoring is determined by successful takedowns and penalties applied for errors.
“Given the increasing demand for localised betting content, we have taken the lead in delivering a unique and fully customisable vaquejada offering, being the only supplier providing a fully in-house developed vaquejada e-sim alongside pre-live event betting,” said Kirill Nekrasov, head of sportsbook product at Betby.
Betby’s Vaquejada Eletrônico offers customisation options for operators to tailor banners, game frequency and margins.
