Wisegambler, a joint venture from Matching Visions and Rvnue Aps, is a new online gaming site that focuses on “wise gambling”.

This new affiliate marketing company was created by Traffic Puma, a company focusing in on the online gaming market and in particular, casinos and sports betting.

These are two favourite gambling niches of the gaming market, in addition to many other markets of Northern Europe.

“The core values of Traffic Puma are FAIR,” says CEO Ken Larsen. “And this acronym stands for fast, accurate, innovative, and responsible. These are values that we think society feels are important. This is what we need to strive for, and when it comes to online games, casinos and sports betting sites, our new affiliate site Wisegambler.com will bring exciting ideas and products to the market.”

Changing your content is key. Not so long ago, a new set of rules and regulations for the online gaming industry was sanctioned and put into practice. Wisegambler.com was made with these new rules in mind, so Traffic Puma feels they have a very up-to-date product.

“Of course, the content is always what makes the difference,” says Larsen. “The days where one could publish almost any kind of random content, insert a few links or banners and laugh all the way to the bank, are gone. The intelligent affiliates think more long-term and invest in epic content.

“The thought is that Google will improve in selecting only qualitatively great (and specific, of course) content relevant to your search. And that those affiliates who took the longer route will win.

“I think one of the important trends going forward will be that affiliates will start treating visitors more like prospects. Maybe we’ll even see email sequences, cross- and up-selling.

“The point is that Google values sites where people stay longer, so the days where you just aimed for a click is gone. Your visitors need to dwell on your site more. And if they click back and go back to the same SERP-page, Google will interpret that the page visited was not very valuable for the searcher.”
