The Malta Gaming Authority has cancelled the licence issued to Tipbet and has ordered the operator to suspend all gaming operations with “immediate effect.”

Tipbet must also refund all player monies to players and settle all outstanding fees that are due to the MGA within a period of five days from the notice of cancellation.

The brand has also been ordered to enable existing players to access their accounts for the purpose of requesting the withdrawal of outstanding balances.

The MGA has also said Tipbet must remove all reference to the regulator and its accreditation from its website and any branding.
