Interest in The Betting Show at Earls Court from January 26-28, 2010 is growing following its incorporation into IGE.

Show organiser Clarion Gaming has reported a significantly high level of early visitor registrations, while the number of exhibitors planning to showcase betting products and services has now surpassed that of the final roster at the 2008 NEC event.

Three months ahead of the doors opening, 51 betting suppliers have confirmed their floor space requirements with the aggregate showcase occupying around 3,300sq.m, an area nearly 75 per cent bigger than the net floor space at the previous standalone event in Birmingham.

There will be a much greater influence from international companies drawn from 14 nations, including six from Malta, four from Austria, three from Sweden, two each from Switzerland and the US and the remainder hailing from Cyprus, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovenia and South Africa.

Show director Emma Green commented: “Exhibitors are taking the January event extremely seriously. In addition to a growing presence of core suppliers to the traditional bookmaking business, we are seeing a number of companies who regularly attend IGE revising their on-stand plans to incorporate product specifically developed for licensed betting operators.”
