The second day of the 2013 iGaming Super Show and Amsterdam Affiliate Conference, while noticeably quieter than the first, still showed few signs of a hangover after last night’s parties and social events.

There may have been comparatively little time for quiet reflection since yesterday’s hectic first day but there would appear to be broad consensus that the event is proving a success.

The venue – the Amsterdam RAI exhibition centre – and the city itself are coming in for particular praise. Across both affiliate and B2B areas of the vast noordhal at RAI, exhibitors and delegates are wearing an Amsterdam smile.

Rory Shanahan, head of marketing for Williams Interactive, said: "We're enjoying the Super Show – there’s been a great response to our managed services affiliate program launch in support of JackpotParty.be, and we’re looking forward to participation on panels in the PRiME an iGaming4Business panels this afternoon."

The American’s enthusiasm was mirrored across the show floor this morning. Marit von Stedingk, affiliate manager at Affiliate REPUBLIK (pictured) said: “The show was incredibly busy yesterday, in the morning especially. It quietened down a bit in the afternoon as many people went off to the enjoy the city – which is so beautiful - before heading to the party last night.

“The venue is great – we love all the natural light on the show floor. And the people here are very professional. It feels like a very natural environment here.”

Skrill’s James Cristal shared Von Stedingk’s enthusiasm for the location: “I love Amsterdam – it’s one of the nicest cities in Europe – and the event itself was full of life yesterday.

“All our partners are here, all the big brands – which has been good for us. We’ve found lots of opportunities and will definitely come again next year. In a way, its an extension of ICE for us – an opportunity to continue the relationships,” added Cristal.
