South Africa’s National Gambling Board reveals to iNTERGAMINGi how sports betting has come to dominate the country’s gaming industry.
Speaking to iNTERGAMINGi, Caroline Kongwa, chief strategic adviser at the National Gambling Board, says the “exponential growth” seen in South Africa’s sports betting industry in recent years is “unlikely to slow down in the foreseeable future.”
Betting GGR grew by 53.3 per cent over the past financial year and is “likely to continue on its upward growth trajectory,” Kongwa adds.
