Online gambling operator SkyBet has reported first-quarter revenues of £32m, a rise of 20 per cent year on year.
In the three months to September 30, 2013 – the first quarter of SkyBet’s financial year – the number of active players also increased by 20 per cent, bringing the total to more than two million.
Managing director Richard Flint attributes the success, in part, to SkyBet’s burgeoning mobile channel, adding that the gains were at the expense of the company’s rivals.
