Sports betting revenue across mobile and retail operators in Arizona, US, in March fell 34.1 per cent year-on-year to US$25m.

The Arizona Department of Gaming reported the figure declined from $38m in March 2024, while month-on-month, there was a 37.1 per cent drop in revenue from February's $39.8m.

Sports betting handle, though, rose 16.8 per cent year-on-year from $759.8m to $887.4m. Month-on-month, the figure rose 26.8 per cent from $699.7m.

As for sports betting taxes, the figure was down 34.3 per cent year-on-year from $3.8m to $2.4m. Month-on-month, taxes fell 37.6 per cent from $3.98m.
