Visitors to October’s European iGaming Congress and Expo will see a new format, more targeted content and a range of additional features all intended to offer enhanced value to delegates, exhibitors and wider stakeholders.

The changes, which follow consultation with a selection of stakeholders, include features tailored to meet the needs of the group organisers have identified as "implementers" - a set of senior executives responsible for bringing strategic vision to an organisational structure.

Changes include smaller and better-targeted learning sessions. EiG 2013 will feature 11 specialist workshops and networking groups with attendance limited to just 50 delegates for each.

EiG’s Breakfast With… session comprises a focused group discussion with an influential keynote speaker while organisers have also created two main platforms for speakers. The EiG Power Talks offer delegates insight from industry thought leaders while the CEO Debate is a rare opportunity to learn how C-level opinion formers see the future of i-gaming.

The programme also includes another new feature, The Pitch, which combines entrepreneurial spirit with a competitive edge. It comprises a series of 15-minute pitches delivered by visionaries who will be presenting their innovations and products.

Audience members will cast votes anonymously, using handheld electronic devices and the EiG Networking App. The winning pitch will be unveiled at the awards lunch on October 10.

Clarion Events’ portfolio director Kate Chambers (pictured) said: “With all of our best-of-breed gaming brands, we are involved in a constant process of evaluation and evolution in order to keep the events topical, relevant and compelling for our customers.

“Our research has identified the ‘implementers’ as being a really important target group and a lot of what we are introducing at EiG is to equip them with a toolkit of solutions and insight delivered by industry experts,” added Chambers.

“The changes that we have made in partnership with the industry, will, I believe, provide a solid platform from which EiG will grow further and build on its influence.”
