March Madness in the Sunflower State also produced a considerable rise in revenue from February, when bettors enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl success, from $35,916 to $9.06m.

Online sports betting handle increased in March to $197m, up from $185.9m, while retail sports betting handle also enjoyed an increase.

DraftKings was the top online operator in Kansas in March, with handle rising to $81.8m.

For the 2023 fiscal year, March’s figures saw the total handle in Kansas rise to $1.33bn, with revenues climbing to $36.34m.
