Online slot revenue was the key driver of 10.7 per cent growth in April gaming revenue in Pennsylvania, US.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said online slots generated US$169.5m in revenue in April, up 34.5 per cent from April 2024’s $126m.

The next biggest driver of growth in the Keystone State was online table games, where revenue grew by 24.2 per cent year-on-year from $45m to $55.9m.

Overall gaming revenue across land-based and online gaming grew 10.7 per cent from $504.7m to $558.7m.

On the land-based gaming front, retail slots revenue in Pennsylvania dropped 1.2 per cent year-on-year in April from $205.5m to $203.1m.

Retail table games revenue rose 2.7 per cent from $78.5m to $80.6m.

Sports betting revenue of $42.5m was up by 0.3 per cent from $42.4m in April 2024. Betting handle was $711.6m, up 10.4 per cent year-on-year from $646.1m.
