Egaming company Novigroup Limited, which owns the domain Novibet, has been granted a gaming licence by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, allowing it to operate on the Isle of Man.
Novibet is a fully licensed online sportsbook that allows customers to see the betting offerings on screen from a choice of eight different languages, as well as highlights and live score updates. The website gives customers the opportunity to bet on a range of sports including all European football events, basketball, tennis, cricket, darts, boxing, ice hockey, motor sports and more.
Commenting on the launch of this new site, David Hudson, a director of Amber Business commented: "[Novigroup has] through close liaison with the Isle of Man’s Gambling Supervision Commission and various island-based partners, managed to launch within a particularly challenging timeframe."
Commenting on this latest development, Alex Downie MLC, Department of Economic Development Member with responsibility for egaming said: "The excellent public/private sector partnership which exists on the Island is clearly evidenced by this latest success."
