MRG has applied for igaming licences in Sweden.
The group, formerly known as Mr Green, is already operating in 13 markets with gaming licences in Italy, Latvia, Malta and the UK, casino licences in Denmark and sportsbook licences in Ireland.
In Sweden, MRG’s subsidiaries Mr Green Ltd and Evoke Gaming Ltd have applied for licences. The applications include the igaming sites Mr Green, Redbet, Vinnarum, Bertil and MamaMiaBingo.
The new Swedish regulations, which kick in on January 1, 2019, contain extensive requirements on responsible gaming. Since its foundation 10 years ago, MRG has focused on responsible gaming and the concept of Green Gaming, handing customers the opportunities to control their playing.
