The Isle of Man-based software provider Microgaming has reached a first-time agreement with games provider Genera Networks to supply Kombispel in Sweden.

Through Genera, Kombispel will carry Microgaming’s bingo, scratchcard and lottery games as the provider enters the regulated Swedish market for the first time. It also signals Microgaming’s first ever arrangement with a member of the World Lottery Association.

Director Rickard Strömberg said Genera Networks was looking forward to offering Swedish players Microgaming’s “world renowned” content, adding: “This agreement gives our existing users access to a whole range of new products and expertise, as well as allowing us to expand our operations and attract new players.”

Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever also welcomed the move.

“As well as providing us with a portal into the Swedish market, which we had not yet entered, we are excited to see how we can strengthen Genera Networks’ offering. After the first month our content is already proving as popular with Swedish players as it is elsewhere.”
