Lottomatica revealed in November that it was to acquire 100 per cent of its fellow Italian-facing operator in a deal which valued the company at €639m.

Lottomatica CEO Guglielmo Angelozzi said at the time: “We’re thrilled to welcome SKS365, one of the leaders in the industry, to our group in Italy.

“We add highly valuable and complementary brands to our portfolio. We will provide all the necessary support for the next phase of growth by leveraging the skills of the enlarged group.”

In the latest update, Lottomatica said it will provide an update of its financial year 2024 guidance incorporating the expected results of SKS365 “as soon as practicable.”

Playtech said in September that it had been in discussions about acquiring SKS365 but added it was aware there were “other parties” who had “expressed an interest” in the deal.

Angelozzi said in the company's recent results release that it wants to “strengthen its leadership” in key segments as it reported a full-year revenue rise 12 per cent to €1.63bn.
