Ladbrokes has confirmed the departure of its head of product and director of the company Richard Ames.
The UK bookmaker released a statement today in response to press speculation, announcing that Ames, who was appointed to the board of directors in January 2009, “has ceased to perform his executive duties with immediate effect.”
The group added that a further announcement regarding Ames’ departure will be made in due course, until which point he will remain a director of the company.
