Online gaming operator GVC Holdings, which last month completed the £1.1bn takeover of bwin.party, has appointed Liron Snir to the new position of chief product officer.

Snir, the former vice president of product and strategy of Playtech, has worked in the industry for 16 years. Previously he spent six years at 888.com as business intelligence team leader.

As CPO, Snir will be responsible for overseeing product management and the overall user experience.
