Mobile: the next step

The gaming industry constantly brings exciting news about mobile gaming, and there is a good reason for this. Various studies show that mobile internet usage will surpass desktop browsing by 2014, meaning demand for the industry to develop quality gaming applications for mobile devices is now stronger than ever.

In addition, there are currently more than 1.8 billion smartphones in use globally and there can be no doubt that mobile gaming is becoming one of the world’s most influential industries. Players downloading content to the mobile devices of today are being bombarded with games, offers and advertising and, since many of these people have been playing for years, they know exactly what they want: entertainment that has the right look, sound and feel. When quality is compromised, the audience is lost. Yet the sky’s the limit when it comes to the selection of games available for mobile devices today.

When Greentube first started exploring the area of mobile gaming in the early 2000s, the technical limitations of the time made it difficult to advance quickly. However, Greentube’s developers began working on an innovative business model and investing time and research in mobile gaming. Today, the DNA and experience from those early projects are the foundation for our creative ideas and solutions for mobile tablets.
