Full Tilt Poker has paid its outstanding licence fees - reportedly in the region of £250,000 - to the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.
A statement by the AGCC said: "The recent payment of overdue licence fees by FTP is also in players’ best interests since it allows commercial negotiations to take place that might result in a successful refinancing deal."
The AGCC added that "further details regarding the exact date and venue of the next hearing will be announced as soon as possible."
At a hearing last month, the AGCC adjourned the substantive hearing into the future of the licences issued to Full Tilt to allow the company and its licensees to further pursue "advanced commercial negotiations" which the regulator claims "could lead to a more beneficial outcome for players’ interests."
It was reported last week that that Full Tilt has been granted a secondary gaming licence by the gaming jurisdiction of Kahnawake.
