Confirmed by Sports IQ Analytics CEO Omer Dor on LinkedIn, the deal is being facilitated by Eric Levy from Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt, and Robin Chhabra of Tekkorp Capital.

“I'm excited for this next chapter in the Sports IQ Analytics journey,” Dor said.

“In DraftKings, we join a team whose desire for winning and being the best matches our own. Thank you Jason Robins [DraftKings CEO], Paul Liberman [president, Global Product and Technology] and the entire team for welcoming us onboard.”

“I'm incredibly grateful to the phenomenal investors, advisors, partners and clients who supported our vision and provided guidance and experience in Sports IQ's journey at every turn,” he added.

“I'd like to believe that every entrepreneur could only wish to be as lucky as I have been.”

Boston Red Sox CEO Sam Kennedy and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon are among those to have invested in Sports IQ Analytics.

The company says its technology “focuses on catering to US bettors' love for live betting markets.”

It provides event-side and player proposition markets to clients.
