A former director of Ladbrokes has become the COO for the UK and Ireland of Playtech BGT Sports, it has been announced.
Lee Drabwell is a former managing director at Ladbrokes where he was an executive for 29 years in its retail betting division. He concluded his time at Labrokes Coral in April when he was its retail operations director.
During his time there he led the roll-out of SSBTs in the 2,700-location Ladbroke estate in the UK, Ireland and Belgium. Now he will be responsible for developing the PBS customer base as it seeks to expand its sports betting business.
PBS has recently signed contract extensions with major operators Boylesports and Betfred and is currently distributing its BetTracker product.
