Esports data provider Data.Bet will be using its platform at the upcoming ICE show to “dispel any prejudices and doubts surrounding esports.”

Headline sponsors of the ICE Esports Arena and the Esports Betting Conference, Data.Bet has a stand right beside the arena, enabling the team to readily demonstrate how the company transforms bets and odds in real time.
“It's a challenge to be fully aware of the dynamic nature of esports simply because the industry is continuously evolving and growing at an exponential rate,” said Alex Kozachenko chief product officer at Data.Bet. “In order to bridge those knowledge gaps, we elucidate differences from traditional sports for operators, share information, data, statistics and growth forecasts with operators helping them to focus on what matters most.
“We aim to improve awareness courtesy of strategic partnerships, popularising esports in the media and at major industry events such as ICE. Bringing together groups with different backgrounds such as operators, providers, esport representatives, affiliates and journalists may build the field for extensive knowledge sharing just because of the diversity of their audience.”
Meanwhile, ICE organisers have also announced the 11 people and organisations who will be honoured at the 2024 ICE Landmark Awards, taking place on Wednesday 7 at the Clarion Gaming stand.
Those receiving awards will be ExCeL London (providing a home for ICE since 2013), NeoSurf (20th anniversary), Michael Buckley (contributions to the gaming industry), Chris Brown (contributions to the global lottery industry), Bellagio Resort and Casino (25th anniversary), Stowe Shoemaker (10 years as dean of UNLV hospitality faculty), Victor Rocha (25th anniversary of Perchanga.net), Jim Cremin (contributions to The Racing Post and ICE), Playtech (25th anniversary), CT Gaming (25th anniversary) and Alfa Street (30th anniversary).
Based on nominations from within the industry, the awards give a salute of recognition to people and organisations who have hit important milestones since the previous ICE show.
