ComTrade Gaming has today announced that long-time employee Ales Gornjec has been promoted to the position of general manager.

In his new role, Gornjec will be primarily responsible for further expansion of the company. This will include seeking out new opportunities that will enable the company to grow and maintain its reputation as a leading provider of technology that bridges the gap between online and land-based industries.
Commenting on his appointment, Gornjec said: “We’ve spent the last 14 years building on our technology and expertise to become one of the most innovative, multi-platform providers within the gaming industry. I’m extremely proud of all that we’ve achieved and very excited that I’ll continue to play such a key role in shaping ComTrade Gaming’s future.”
Gornjec joined ComTrade Group in 1996 as a software developer and project manager after graduating from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Maribor.
In 2001 he founded the gaming unit within the company and has steadily built a team of more than 200 engineers.
Under his leadership, ComTrade Gaming is now working within most areas of the gaming industry, including online and land-based casino, sports betting and poker operators.
