Cola Group, the cryptogaming operator, is to invest $14.5m to speed up its expansion of its igaming business in Africa.

Cola.bet has just obtained its fourth African gambling licence in Nigeria, the second-largest market for gambling in the continent. It already has licenses to operate in Zambia, Kenya and Ethiopia.

Cola.bet specialises in sports betting, reports Gaming for Africa. It quotes Cola Group as describing the Nigerian market as similar to that of Ethiopia, in that it is retail-centric rather than a business that is conducted via the internet.
