BetTech Gaming, a provider of premium technology solutions to gaming companies, has agreed a deal to supply its flagship BetTech Sports product to Krugerbets.com, the sports betting site operated by South Africa’s Kruger Racing.

BetTech has provided a total refresh of Krugerbets.com, significantly improving its functionality and adding an optimised mobile betting experience. Cape Town-based BetTech also boosted the range of sports and markets offered, including full pools and fixed-odds wagering on all South African and European racing fixtures and opportunities for in-play betting. The new Krugerbets.com products launched to help Kruger Racing satisfy the growing demand in South Africa for online and mobile sports betting, the main driver behind the country’s expanding gambling industry. Government figures predict overall domestic betting turnover to increase from R17.7bn in 2012 to R24.2bn in 2016. With its head office in Durban, Kruger Racing has 11 betting shops throughout the KwaZulu-Natal region. The company’s general manager Craig Swan said: “When we decided to relaunch Krugerbets.com, BetTech was the standout choice of partner. Integration was quick and painless, we were able to customise the product at every step of the way and are delighted with the results.
“BetTech’s product allows Kruberbets.com to offer fantastic prices on all major horse and sporting events around the world, not to mention the vast array of in-running bets available on various sporting fixtures. Service to our customers is of paramount importance and we strive to allow them to make transactions using our online site, seamlessly and effortlessly through a combination of our helpful staff as well as BetTech’s user friendly web and mobile platform.” “We are witnessing firsthand how the online sports betting market is booming in South Africa,” said BetTech Gaming general manager Anli Kotzé. “The growth has fuelled player expectations and Krugerbets.com is now in a better position to satisfy the demand, and complement its offline offering, particularly when it comes to mobile and in-play.”
