BetMGM has struck a deal to become the tile sponsor of darts’ Premier League competition.

The BetMGM Premier League, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation, begins in February and culminates in May after 17 nights of action.
The deal marks the start of a new sponsorship agreement between the PDC and the Entain and MGM Resorts International joint venture BetMGM, which launched in the UK in August through MGM-owned LeoVegas.
BetMGM’s UK director Sam Behar said the operator looks forward to an “action-packed 2024 for both BetMGM and the PDC.”
PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter added: “This year marks the 20th staging of the Premier League and it is already the most eagerly-awaited, with the standard of entertainment across PDC events in the past 12 months having continued to rise.
"As we enter the third year of the eight-player, nightly knockout format we're excited about working alongside BetMGM to promote such a wide-reaching event."
Each of the 16 league nights features a mini-event in which eight players compete to win the event on that night.
The top four from the final league table compete in the season-ending play-offs in London after visits to cities both in the UK and abroad including Leeds, Birmingham, Berlin and Rotterdam.
BetMGM has bolstered its presence in the UK since launch via previous partnerships with Premier League football clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers, Manchester City and Newcastle United.
