BetMGM has launched a new sports betting app to go hand-in-hand with the 2023-24 NFL season, which kicked off on Thursday.
Featuring a free US$100,000 Survivor Pool, all users can enter one time for free in the app and choose one team to win each week. Once a winning team is selected, they cannot be selected again for the rest of the season, with the last customer standing taking the jackpot.
BetMGM celebrity ambassador Barry Sanders is being used to drive popularity in a free-to-play game, with a parlay boost token, odds boost token and same-game parlay insurance token among the prizes on offer.
BetMGM is also offering odds boosts in states where it is a sports betting partner, including in Arizona for the Cardinals and Maryland for the Baltimore Ravens.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said the new app is a “giant step forward in the sports betting experience.”
The Detroit Lions beat reigning champions the Kansas City Chiefs in the first game of the season on Thursday.
