BetFair Group has announced the appointment of Zillah Byng-Maddik as a non-executive director.
Byng-Maddick will join the company with effect from close of business at the company’s annual general meeting to be held on September 5, 2013, and will be a member of the audit committee.
Commenting on the appointment, BetFair’s chairman, Gerald Corbett, said: “Zillah is an experienced professional who has worked at the top of a number of consumer facing businesses. We all welcome her to the BetFair Board.”
Byng-Maddick was previously chief financial officer of Trader Media Group, one of Europe’s largest multimedia publishers, serving as interim chief executive until July 2013.
