Barcrest has signed a new deal with GameAccount Network that will see a selection of its games launch online via the GameAccount Network platform in various international jurisdictions.
Barcrest, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scientific Games Corporation, which already supplies a number of international outlets with video lottery terminal content, is launching these games through local deployments within GameAccount Network’s platform for i-gaming operators, which is licensed and regulated by several European government authorities.
Alex Stephens, managing director of interactive gaming at Barcrest, commented: “The global, regulated i-gaming market is growing rapidly, driven by the introduction of new legislation in many countries, such as Italy and Spain. GameAccount Network is ideally placed to assist in growing our global online presence and capitalising on the existing popularity of our games.”
Dermot Smurfit, chief executive officer of GameAccount Network, added: “Access to Barcrest’s extensive library of popular games is exactly what our corporate customers are looking for. We believe these games should perform well and we are looking forward to developing our relationship with Barcrest throughout the world.”
Barcrest’s first game on GameAccount Network’s platform, Crown Jewels, is expected to launch in June with others, such as Rainbow Riches and Ca$hino, to follow throughout the year.
