As part of our slots showcase Q&A feature, iNTERGAMINGi spoke to Robert Swan, head of game development of Gamesys, which owns slot development company Golden Hero, about its newest game and its connection to Japan.

Could you tell us a bit about the background of Golden Hero

Golden Hero started 2017, and the first game, Jewel Race, was launched in 2018. The strategy has always been to create games that push boundaries, while keeping our focus on the player. Our main goal is to create games that are appealing to players in the markets that the games are distributed in, by creating the games in close cooperation with people from these markets to get the right look and feel. For example, pachislots are very close to our heart and a very popular game category in Japan. We have acquired knowledge in what makes a pachislot distinct and how to build them well through close collaboration with Japanese game studios.
