Chief operating officer Scot McClintic believes Fanatics’ sports betting performance in Missouri will offer the most telling insights yet about whether the operator can really hunt down FanDuel and DraftKings.

THE US online gaming market has long been dominated by the two household names of FanDuel and DraftKings. The former now operates in a division of its own at Flutter Entertainment having swept up market share across the country, but competition from DraftKings has carved out a seemingly unbreakable duopoly.

Indeed, whether anyone can truly break the mould has been the question on everyone’s lips regarding the US market, especially more recently as the pace of new sports betting regulation has continued to decelerate and igaming legislation stutters.
