Catena Media has moved to install Per Hellberg as the igaming marketing giant's new chief executive officer.

The former CEO at Nordic Gaming, where he completed the divestment of the company to Betsson AB, Hellberg also has experience in a variety of other marketing and management roles, including as marketing director for Sony.

He will take up his new position no later than September 3, 2018, replacing acting CEO Henrik Persson Ekdahl who returns to his role as a Catena board member.

Hellberg, who had a previous role as a CEO with Readly International,boasts international commercial experience in igaming, publishing, consumer electronics and mobile telecommunications. He has a track record in M&A, organisational efficiency and creating growth and increasing profit.
