The KSA said 22 investigations had been carried out, resulting in the 15 enforcement actions against websites that it found had violated the Dutch Gambling Act.

In 13 cases, a penalty will be imposed by the authority, it said. The other two cases are still under investigation. It reports that in some of the 13 cases so far uncovered, the violation was immediately discontinued or the advertiser – also referred to as affiliate – switched to advertising for licensed gambling providers and stopped advertising for the illegal providers.
