English football league club Blackburn Rovers has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with online gaming operator Dafabet.
Dafabet becomes the club’s official international betting and gaming partner and the famous blue-and-white Blackburn shirt will carry the online gaming company’s logo from the beginning of next season.
John Cruces, head of sports marketing and sponsorship at Dafabet, said: “We are very proud to become Blackburn Rovers' main sponsor.
“Everyone is aware that this year is the 20th anniversary of Rovers winning the Premier League and we were sold on the club’s ambition to get back into English football’s top flight.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the Dafabet logo on such an iconic football shirt and working together with the club on a long-term mutually beneficial partnership which complements our other investments in UK sport.”
