My earliest recollection is of boarding a tram at the corner of Gloddaeth Avenue and Mostyn Street in Llandudno. It must have been about 1948 and I would have been aged five. A few years later I had my first meeting with a coin-operated game. It was a mechanical crane made by Bryan’s Works and it was in the Royal Arcade in Mostyn Street, now owned by HB Leisure. That was to trigger a lifetime love of games and gaming.
