The French sports betting and online gaming group Betclic Everest has joined Playtech’s iPoker network.

The group’s Betclic and Everest poker products in France and international markets are now available on ipoker.fr and ipoker.com respectively.

Playtech confirmed a solution for the Everest casino brand is due for launch early next year.

Playtech chief executive Mor Weizer said France remained an important market for the company, adding: “Playtech is committed to regulated markets and the launch demonstrates its unique position and ability to establish itself as the leading supplier in all regulated markets.

"We anticipate that the enlarged liquidity pools on iPoker.fr and iPoker.com will attract further brands to the growing stable of well-established operators and contribute to our future success."

Ignacio Martos, CEO of the Betclic Everest Group, said: “Playtech offers a market-leading range of products including a world-class casino, which Everest will be taking full advantage of in 2013. The migration of Betclic Everest players to Playtech’s iPoker network follows a deal between the two companies in September.
