ZEAL Network has reported a year-on-year revenue increase of 21 per cent in 2022 to €105.2m.

The German online provider of lottery products’ chief financial officer, Jonas Mattsson, labelled the company’s progress a “strong development” despite the “ongoing global uncertainty” and hailed the “resilience” of lottery products.
ZEAL’s expenditure increased between 2021 and 2022, with marketing expenses and billings helping that overall figure in 2022 to rise to €57m, up from €41.1m in 2021.
However, ZEAL increased EBITDA by €3.9m and market share subsequently increased from 39 per cent to 41 per cent.
ZEAL anticipates billings for 2023 to range between €800m and €830m for the Germany segment, while revenues for the year are estimated at between €110m and €120m and EBITDA is expected to reach up to €35m.
The company plans to further expand its market share by introducing online games under the licence for virtual slot machine games it applied for.
Mattsson added: “The positive development of our business figures in almost all areas proves that we have sustainably invested in our own growth with our measures in 2022.
“In 2023, we will not only focus on further expanding our base business, but also drive innovation to further extend our market leadership."
