York Scheunemann has joined Bayes Esports as chief operations officer, with the company now spearheaded by three executives.
Martin Dachselt remains the CEO, while Amir Mirzaee moves to the role of CCO.
As COO, York will be responsible for accelerating the growth of Bayes Esports – and esports as an industry.
He will lead Bayes’ sales, marketing, communication and People & Culture efforts.
York spent 12 years at Google and was vice-president of the scale-up Appinio.
Scheunemann said he is looking forward to working in an industry showing “explosive growth” and an “ever-changing profile.”
Mirzaee added that Scheunemann’s “incredibly high experience in the tech industry and his right mindset and values” make him a good fit for Bayes Esports.
