Yggdrasil Gaming capped a busy and successful year with results showing full-year operating profit rising by 35 per cent to SEK58.8m (€5.93m).

After a 12-month period in which the igaming creator released 11 new network games and one operator exclusive game, signing 40 licence agreements and announcing entry into the Italian market, Yggdrasil also revealed revenue for 2017 increasing by 95 per cent to SEK169.1m (€17m). EBITDA was SEK71.5m (€7.21m), yielding a margin of 42 per cent.

In Q4 2017, Yggdrasil’s revenues were up by 61 per cent to SEK51.2m (€5.16m) and EBITDA increased to SEK21.5m (€2.17m), with a margin of 42 per cent. Mobile gaming is now making up 59 per cent of total gross game win and the company has announced plans for a new vertical, bingo, while also intending to enter the Danish market through deals with Jackpotjoy Group, Danske Spil/Bwin.dk and LeoVegas.

Yggdrasil’s CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said: “These fantastic results were only possible because of the team we have assembled and the support of our customers.
