William Hill has appointed Tom Waterhouse as the chief executive officer of its Australian business.

Waterhouse, whose betting venture TomWaterhouse.com.au was bought out by William Hill last August for a reported £19.1m, is expected to take up his new position at the end of month, according to sbcnews.
Commenting on the new role, he said: “You couldn’t ask for a better company to be bought by. “I’ve been part of William Hill Australia [since August] and seen them function within the same offices but now I get to really stick my teeth in.”
Waterhouse replaces Michael Sullivan in the role. The move follows William Hill's recent appointment of James Henderson as group CEO.
