Playtech’s Italian subsidiary, Snaitech, has fallen into line with the rest of the Italian industry and closed its operations until April 3, it was announced by Playtech.

The move follows a decree from the Italian government issued at the weekend, closing all betting shops, arcades and bingo halls across the country to try to contain the coronavirus outbreak. Snaitech’s online business will continue as normal, said Playtech.
The Italian company had experienced a strong start to 2020, said Playtech, but the virus outbreak had impacted it.
